Social Welfare in Twentieth Century America

Abstract: This 9 page paper looks at social programs and charity for three different eras. The Reagan years are discussed as well as Clintonian America. A great deal of emphasis is placed on F.D.R.'s stint as president during the Great Depression. Changes in social work and charity are duly noted. Bibliography lists 5 sources.
