President Gerald Ford: Legislative Agenda And Relationship With The Courts

Abstract: 6 pages in length. United States President Gerald R. Ford had what might be called a tentative relationship with the courts due to his oft-unpopular legislative agenda, much of which was directly attributable to the Vietnam War and President Richard M. Nixon's pardon. However, even as opposing as their relationship may have been in relation to these issues, there was numerous legislation borne out of a mutual understanding and agreement.
