Abstract: This 17 page paper discusses alternative and complimentary medicines as they may be applied to the area of mainstream and conventional medicine. Alternative medicines explored include yoga, acupuncture, and naturopathy and how they may be integrated into the treatment of the terminally ill, those suffering from chronic pain, anxiety disorders and others.
