Abstract: This 12 page paper provides a discussion of the Doctrine of Humanitarian Intervention, its principles and whether or not nations should be allowed to breach international law. Many examples are given. Issues such as human rights violations by China, the Kosovo crisis and the role of the U.N. in general are each discussed in the context of the doctrine.
