The Culture of Hockey and Its Violence in Canada

Abstract: This is a 6 page paper discussing the culture of hockey in Canada despite its violent aspects. Canadians are introduced into the world of hockey at a very young age. Young players are drafted into the Canadian National Hockey League during their mid-teens and leave their homes to be billeted across the country in the hopes that they will one day be drafted further into the professional level National Hockey League.
