Should Schools Include More Religion In The Curriculum?

Abstract: 5 pages in length. Teaching religion to schoolchildren provides them with the opportunity to broaden their otherwise restricted perception of the world. It has become a method of incorporating their own faith with those of other belief systems, a concept that is being utilized as a means by which to demonstrate the similarities between and among global faiths. Furthermore, learning about such controversial issues as creationism alongside the theory of evolution allows students to impart their own reasoning and decide which explanation better suits their personal beliefs.
