Similarities Between David and Rousseau

Abstract: This 7 page paper looks at the influences of Jacques Louis David and Jean Jacques Rousseau. David was a painter and Rousseau a philosopher. David's The Lictors Bring to Brutus the Bodies of His Sons is used to explore the painter's philosophy and Rousseau's Social Contract Theory is discussed as well. Bibliography lists 3 sources.
