Silent Dancing: Human Behavior and Ethnicity

Abstract: 9 pages. This paper is based on the book Silent Dancing : A Partial Remembrance of a Puerto Rican Childhood by Judith Ortiz Cofer. In the pages of this book and several similar books about growing up in a Latino family, the reader gets a feel for the social environment and an understanding of the many psychological and sociological factors affecting those who grow up in a culturally different environment in America. This paper gives an excellent view of the impact and viewpoints this can have on young people in their growth and development. Bibliography lists 4 sources.
