Abstract: This 8 page paper answers four questions posed by a student. One question concerns Marxism and racism and another has to do with Pareto's ideology in relation to the current state of Russia. The third question is about Simmel's ideas about small groups, and finally, the fourth question addresses the issue of trends in society and how Sumner might view them. Bibliography lists 9 sources.
