Whitman & Dickinson/Wild Nights

Abstract: A 5 page analysis of Dickinson's "Wild Night--Wild Nights" and Whitman's "Earth! My Likeness!" The writer argues that if one looks beyond differences in stylistic components in their poetry, it is possible to find an underlying commonality that is shared by both of these great poets. This common feature, which is demonstrated by both Dickinson and Whitman, is their passion -- for life and for love. Bibliography lists 3 sources.
