JFK/What if he had lived?

Abstract: A 5 page research paper that examines the question of whether or not JFK would have escalated American involvement in Vietnam had he lived to serve a second term. The writer argues, based on his career to that point, that Kennedy would have taken a hard stance against Communist expansion and escalated the war, but, also, that the war might have gone differently.
