Sports For The Disabled

Abstract: Each person is a unique individual, with their own traits and personality. The personality is a culmination of social, environmental, genetic and personal traits. This 5 page paper explores the legal realm of inclusion of disabled athletes and argues that the essence of sports participation is to strengthen the self concept of the individual through positive interactions which allow the person to build (and respect) a foundation of beliefs concerning who they are as a separate entity in the world.
