The Teacher And The Taught

Abstract: In Shakespeare's The Tempest, Caliban is Prospero's subject whom he teaches to read. In Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, the monster is the 'child' whom Dr. Frankenstein must teach the lessons of the world.
