Abstract: 5 pages in length. California's Imperial Valley provides an incredible amount of food for the rest of the country, as well as the rest of the world. Its inherent diversity of products serves as its primary appeal, while climate, environment and culture play essential roles in cultivating that diversity. However, recent years have demonstrated substantial changes within the environmental and cultural composition of agricultural products supplied by the Imperial Valley region, which are particularly associated with the level of soil salinity. These alterations have been instrumental in causing area suppliers to reassess the quality of their food supply, as well as contemplate the repercussions of future changes.
