Television and Its impact on Society

Abstract: This 40 page report discusses the ways in which television has had a tremendous influence in shaping the way people think, how they act, and even what they choose to eat and drink. It has evolved in ways that have caused human beings to evolve differently than they would have without its predominance. This paper considers theoretical perspectives related to the process and effects of television, its uses and gratifications, and its impact on modern culture. It also presents suggestions regarding further studies into the role of television in the 21st century society. Bibliography lists 40 sources.
