Abstract: 8 pages in length. Caring for the elderly is not merely tending to their physical needs when they are no longer able to do so for themselves. Rather, caring for the elderly encompasses a broad spectrum of applications that not only include physical but also mental, emotional and spiritual elements so often taken for granted or completely ignored. One of many growing concerns with elderly care is the visible lack of respect this particular age group receives from society as a whole. Bibliography lists 7 sources.
