Abstract: A paper which looks at the way in which Chicana feminism deals with the issues of gender inequality, both in Mexican culture and in society as a whole, and considers the other issues such as racial discrimination which they have had to face in their struggle to achieve equal cultural recognition in a multi-ethnic society.
