Abstract: An 11 page paper which discusses the welfare system of Texas. The paper presents an examination of various approaches to reform, arguing that such attention does not address the problem of providing adequate services, in a sensible fashion, to clients. The paper also offers possible solutions to this particular problem, discussing such approaches as privatization and single application perspectives. Bibliography lists 7 sources.
