Detroit's J.L. Hudson Building

Abstract: This 5 page report discusses the history and fate of one of the great buildings in the Detroit, Michigan, skyline. J.L. Hudsons's Department Store was considered by many to be a unique American institution that changed the way people viewed downtown and shopping. The building was vacated in 1983 and demolished in 1998. Bibliography lists 6 sources.
