Health Care Leadership

Abstract: A 9 page paper discussing the changing nature of the health care industry and the attributes needed in health care leadership. The paper discusses issues of third-party payers, whether health care is a right or responsibility and policy considerations. A hospital administrator in the past generally needed concern himself only with costs, income and quality. Current and future considerations include social responsibility, marketing and innovations beyond those of the scientific realm. Bibliography lists 9 sources.
