Abstract: 10 pages. The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is a country that has a diversified economy and continues to grow and improve as it has during the last two decades. Statistics show us that the United Arab Emirates' economy was up by more than twenty percent in 2000. This was in the most part due to their increased exporting of oil products as well as the strong oil prices. This paper will also look at the politics as well as the sociological aspects of the United Arab Emirates so that the student will have a good understanding of the UAE.
