Full Mouth Disinfection Compared to Partial Mouth Disinfection

Abstract: This 6 page report discusses research findings regarding full-mouth disinfection (FMD). FMD requires that instrumentation, subgingival, buccal mucosa and tongue disinfection all be completed within 24 hours.
