Margaret Bourke-White (1904-1971)

Abstract: (10 pp) Margaret Bourke-White (1904 - 1971) is the kind of woman you want to read stories about to first yourself and then to any and all girl children that might come into your area. She was a dedicated professional photographer at a time when it was an unheard of activity for a woman. Her name remained on the masthead of Life magazine until 1969. This discussion will look at the woman and her work. Bibliography lists 6 sources and three visuals.
