The Field of General Systems Theory

Abstract: 5 pages in length. In this paper the writer concentrates on comparing and contrasting the theories of Ludwig von Bertalanffy, the founding father of the General Systems Theory, Ervin Laszlo and his Natural Systems Theory, and Stafford Beer with the Viable Systems Model. This assessment of the theories will focus on the comparison rather than information on the theories and theorists themselves. Bibliography lists 4 sources.
