Abstract: 5 pages in length. Robert Reich's The Work of Nations is an interesting analysis of the economy and how it can change and evolve. Of particular interest is Reich's explanation of high volume versus high value production, and the effects these can have on the economy of not only one nation, but of the global economy as well. Reich brings up some interesting points and while not all economists agree with some of his theories, he does make some valid statements that can leave the reader with something to think about.
