(The) Consumer Challenge to Health Care

Abstract: An insightful 7 page discussion of how and why U.S. consumers started to become more conscious health care shoppers beginning with the grassroots movements of the 1960's and leading up to more recent times. The writer feels that the modern consumer is still not well-educated enough on the subject and is not getting the most for their money but is nevertheless, providing a genuine challenge for the health care marketer.
