Seamus Heaney's 'Mid-Term Break' and J. D. Salinger's 'Catcher in the Rye' / Stopping for Death

Abstract: A 5 page paper comparing the boy protagonists of Seamus Heaney's poem 'Mid-Term Break' and J.D. Salinger's novel Catcher in the Rye. Both boys have suffered the death of a younger brother, and both works show their youthful protagonists coming to terms with their grief. Bibliography lists 3 sources.
