Analysis of the Automobile Industry

Abstract: 11 pages. This paper will be helpful to the student in researching the focus of the automobile industry, specifically that of AB Volvo. The future focus of the automobile industry as well as how the industry compares when considering Michael Porter's Five Forces of Competition analysis. The threat of new entrants, rivalry among existing competitors, and threat of substitute products will be discussed, as well as the bargaining power available to buyers and suppliers.
