A Career in Journalism

Abstract: 5 pages in length. One of the key roles in society today is that of journalism. Reporters and correspondents gather information and prepare information for us that inform about local, State, National, and international events; present points of view on current issues; and report on the actions of public officials, corporate executives, special interest groups, and others who exercise power. This paper explains what is necessary to get started in the field of journalism as well as financial and personal rewards to be found in this exciting field. Bibliography lists 7 sources.
