Abstract: A 10 page discussion of the dilemma facing many system administrators regarding private e-mail. Identifies system administration as a new profession resulting from the technological revolution. Emphasizes, however, that the dilemma regarding the invasion of privacy which results with the reading of personal e-mail is really a very old dilemma of ethics and morals.
