Abstract: This 7 page paper considers Spinoza's perspectives on the notion of God and the existence of God in defining an understanding of man's existence in nature. This paper also considers the arguments of Spinoza as they are in direct conflict with the perspectives of Descartes and considers the presentation of this argument by Spinoza as a challenge against Descartes primary Cartesian premise.
