Sandburg's Imagism and Braque's Cubism as the Energy of A New Day:

Abstract: A five page paper comparing Carl Sandburg's poem "Chicago" with Georges Braque's painting "Houses at L'Estaque." The paper concludes that both works, in addition to exemplifying the artistic school of Cubism and the literary movement of Imagism, exude the chaotic and noisy energy of the twentieth century. Bibliography lists five sources.
