African Globalization in Appiah and Diawara

Abstract: A five page paper looking at the challenge of the modernization of Africa as discussed by Manthia Diawara in his "In Search of Africa" and Kwarme Anthony Appiah in "In My Father's House." The paper concludes that while Diawara advocates Westernizing the African continent and its people, Appiah celebrates its uniquely African voice. No additional sources.
