The Role of the U.S. Government in the Economy: Poverty and Welfare

Abstract: A 5 page overview of the involvement of the U.S. government in economics. Presents the government as a villain, more concerned with promoting the needs of the more affluent citizenry than the more disadvantaged. It sometimes seems, in fact, that political leaders and our more affluent classes have waged a continual war against those who are more economically disadvantaged. Bibliography lists 6 sources.
