Somalian Women

Abstract: There continues to be discrimination, violence and a certain adherence to the old traditions, however, the women of Somalia have taken a stand and forged a new identity upon which a role for them will emerge in the future. This 10 page paper explores the political, cultural and economic history of Somalia in terms of the role women have played in the process. Bibliography lists 15 sources.
