The Family Role in Juvenile Delinquency.

Abstract: (5 pp) It used to be popular to" blame" Mom for everything that went wrong in the lives of her children. We have moved a little past that, and now look at the role of "the family" in juvenile delinquency. While it is necessary to keep in mind, that "mom" may still be the "only" family, we have also added to that parental role in the form of extended family members, the neighborhood and role models as ways to help keep our children away from delinquency. Bibliography lists 5 sources.
