In Defense of Affirmative Action

Abstract: A 6 page research paper which argues that affirmative action programs are still needed and useful for providing equal educational and employment opportunities to women and minorities. The writer states all of the major arguments against affirmative action, and then shows, through an historical and demographic context, why these arguments simply do not hold up as legitimate reasons for ending affirmative action.
