Abstract: A 7 page paper discussing the usefulness of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) in solidifying "who" an individual is and how that increased self-awareness can be used to improve leadership abilities. The paper explores personal history, strengths, vision and values of a real person (the writer) in light of MBTI categorization, and how that person can use the information to grow both professionally and personally. The paper concludes with specific steps for the student in how to arrive at his own assessment of himself, using his greater self-awareness in leadership. Bibliography lists 3 sources.
