Alfred Hitchcock's 'Rear Window' / Castration & Voyeurism

Abstract: A 10 page paper which examines how the Alfred Hitchcock film, Rear Window (1954) demonstrates castration and voyeurism in the chief protagonist, L.B. Jeffries, as he lives through his neighbors lives by watching them out his window. Specifically compared are how this theme is present in both Jeffries and the film's villain, Lars Thorwald.
