Plato and Machiavelli on War

Abstract: A 7 page paper which discusses how Plato and Machiavelli regarded the act of war. For the most part both philosophers were very clear in illustrating how and why war existed, yet somewhat more vague in terms of presenting their personal opinions regarding war, though the intent appears to be that those who seek a higher level of consciousness or being have little or no need for warfare. Bibliography lists 6 sources.
