The Chiropractor's Perspective on Sleep Apnea

Abstract: An 8 page paper discussing the diagnosis of sleep apnea and possible treatment through chiropractic. Sleep disorders traditionally have not been addressed by chiropractic unless they have been found to stem from a condition that prevents the sufferer from being able to be comfortable enough to get a good night's sleep, which in itself contributes to the chiropractor's alleviation of the common physical problems for which he is normally consulted, such as low back pain. The chiropractor's entire focus of treatment is noninvasive physical manipulation of conditions, however, which even the mainstream medical community recognizes as the best treatment for sleep apnea in most cases.
