Balancing Environmental Concerns with the Rights to Develop: Nigeria

Abstract: An 11 page discussion of the conflicts which emerge when balancing development with environmental protection. Provides an overview of Nigeria's developmental pressure and the environmental problems which have resulted. Suggests that viewing environmental protection as an economically feasible alternative and utilizing an ethical approach in resolving the conflicts between development and environment is the basis for solution of Nigeria's current problems.
