Music for the Body and Soul

Abstract: 10 pages. Music encompasses a great many emotions, feelings, and desires. Often represented are rage, love, happiness, sorrow and despair. Music is an avenue to release the inner struggles that can be set free through no other means than verse. It can be a catharsis to one's ailing heart as much as it can be a conduit between two otherwise strangers. Music is as diverse a means of communication as any medium, yet there are vast arrays of elements that make up this very unique and specialized form of communication. The author discusses the use of music in our lives and how it affects our souls, spirits and bodies. Bibliography lists 5 sources.
