Abstract: A 10 page overview of computer-aided graphic design and its relation to conventional photographic theory in both still and moving photography. Discusses in detail concepts such as editing, composition and presentation. Compares the tools and techniques which are available to the conventional photographer with those which are available to the graphic design artists. Emphasizes that traditional artistic theory is just as important to the graphic design artist as it is the to the conventional photographer. Bibliography lists 3 sources.
