Mexican American Culture: Diversity In a World Which Demands Uniformity

Abstract: A 5 page discussion of the various factors affecting the manner in which Mexican Americans perceive American culture and place different emphasis on the importance of not only maintaining their own cultural uniqueness but expressing that uniqueness in a world which expects uniformity. The author looks at these issues from the perspective of two Mexican American authors. Bibliography lists 4 sources.
