CAD - Computer Assisted Design as a Communication Tool.

Abstract: (8pp includes 2 comparative visuals) To be successful in the design professions requires not only talent and creativity, but a careful balance of technical skill, business sense and artistic expression. One hopes to find this balance in the professional area of architecture. Computer aided design (CAD) is a valuable tool in the service of this profession. This discussion will focus on the use of CAD within the profession. Thesis statement: Computer assisted design provides a valuable and ever developing tool for the advancement of architectural creativity in providing unique design solutions to modern problems and needs.
